Bises,

Inès

Frequently asked questions

Is the score the exam score?

No. It is an indicative AI estimate, on a single text. The real TCF Canada scores your 3 tasks together, with human graders. That is why we show a 2-point range.

Which NCLC do I need for Express Entry?

Draws for French-speaking candidates usually ask for NCLC 7 in all 4 skills. In TCF Canada writing, NCLC 7 is a score of 10 or 11 out of 20. Always check the draw rules on IRCC’s site.

Do I need an account?

No. Free evaluations are tied to your browser. A pass gives you a key to keep. You can use it on another device.

Are these the real exam topics?

No. They are our own topics in the exam’s public format. You can also paste a text on any topic for the same task.

What happens to my text?

It is kept 30 days for you, then deleted. You can erase it earlier at any time. It is never sold or used to train AI.
