On 3 November 2026, centres in Canada showed $390 to $415 for the full TCF Canada. Refunds, transfers and payment

  • Concordia, Montréal. Online registration, payment in Canadian dollars, and all registrations are final. It enforces the 20-day wait between two sittings.
  • AF Montréal. No price in its page text. Cancelling up to 15 days before costs $75, which is not refunded, and you may change the date once.
  • AF Toronto. Online only, not in person or by phone. No cancellation, refund or waiting list. A transfer costs $100 and is possible up to 15 days before a computer session or 30 days before a paper session. You can hold one active registration at a time across its 4 exam centres.
  • AF Vancouver. Registration is final, with no refund or credit. Registration opens in short windows. For the 11 December 2026 session at its Vancouver site (Cambie St) it ran from 14 to 21 September. Results arrive by email within up to 4 weeks.
  • AF Ottawa. No price on its page. Its page still mentions re-marking at $100 per test, but FEI has suspended re-marking of writing and speaking for sessions from 1 September 2026 (re-marking).
  • AF Edmonton. You are registered once both the form and the payment are in. For refunds its page points to its terms and conditions, which state nothing for the exam, so ask. Results by email in 1 to 2 weeks, except in December and August.
  • AF Halifax. Fees are not refundable and the date is firm.
  • U. de Sherbrooke. In person only, paid in Canadian dollars with a credit card issued in Canada. No cancellation, change of date or refund once the confirmation is sent. Sessions are on Fridays.

Before you pay

  1. Check the centre is on FEI’s map of TCF centres. We only say these centres list TCF Canada on their sites.
  2. Confirm the price with the centre. Prices change, and Halifax says so on its page.
  3. Choose a date you are sure of. With no refunds at most of these centres, a missed session is paid twice.
  4. Watch registration windows. If nothing is free, see no date available.

Registration steps are in how to register, and choosing between centres in where to take TCF Canada.

At about $400 a sitting with no refund, it is worth knowing where your writing stands before you book. Write one practice task and get an estimated mark.
