Where to take TCF Canada in France, and how much it costs in Paris
Checked November 3, 2026
On 3 November 2026, the one current price we found in Paris was 227 € at ELFE, for TCF Canada on computer. French Paris showed 220 €, but on its 2025 calendar, and ACTE shows no price (45 € of what you pay is a non-refundable registration fee). There is no national price, each centre sets its own, so ask the centre for the price and the next session date.
Paris centres and their prices
These are prices read on each school’s own page on 3 November 2026. They are examples, not a list of every centre in France.
| Centre | Price | Note |
|---|---|---|
| ELFE, Paris | 227 € | On computer, on site |
| French Paris | 220 € | From its 2025 calendar, may be out of date |
| ACTE, Paris | Not shown | Includes 45 € non-refundable registration fees |
The price covers the four tests together. French Paris describes them as 4 inseparable tests on computer, and TCF Canada cannot be bought skill by skill (what the price covers).
Results delays the centres give
- ELFE. Results within 3 weeks at most, collected at the school.
- French Paris. Results within 2 weeks.
- ACTE. At least 3 weeks.
FEI itself says results are available within 15 working days after it receives the session material. See how long results take.
Session dates and other cities
None of the three pages gave a date we could quote for the coming weeks, so ask the school for its next session when you ask for the price. Outside Paris, look your city up on FEI’s map of TCF centres. If the school you find runs TEF Canada instead, that is the other French test IRCC accepts (TCF or TEF).
Before you pay
- Check that the school is on FEI’s map. We only say these schools list TCF Canada on their own sites.
- Ask for the full price, the session date and whether it is on computer or on paper.
- Ask what happens if you cannot come. At ACTE, 45 € of what you pay are non-refundable registration fees.
- If no session is free, no date available has the workarounds.
