Where to take TCF Canada in Belgium, and what the exam costs

Test your writing, 2 free evaluationsAt the Alliance française Bruxelles-Europe and the Alliance française in Ghent, the two Belgian centres that publish a TCF Canada page, read on 3 November 2026. Ghent lists 260 € and runs three sessions a year. Brussels does not publish its fee on its page, but lists a session on 8 and 9 December 2026, with registration until 20 November. In both centres the exam is on computer, on site, and Brussels requires 30 days between two sittings.

The Brussels Alliance coordinates a network of six exam centres in Belgium, in Antwerp, Ghent, Kortrijk, Mol, SHAPE and the ISLV in Liège. The Ghent Alliance is part of it, but has its own TCF page, fee and sessions. We only found a TCF Canada page for Brussels and Ghent. For the others, ask the centre.
Brussels
- Format. The written tests are entirely on computer at the Alliance, and the speaking test, one to one, is in the afternoon of the same day.
- Registration. It goes through the Alliance’s online platform, and it is in your name and not transferable. For the December session, registration runs from 4 October to 20 November 2026.
- The notice to attend arrives by email at least 5 days before the written tests.
- ID. An official document valid on exam day, no photocopies.
- Retakes. As many as you like, with 30 days between two sittings. See retaking TCF Canada.
- The certificate is sent by FEI within 2 weeks at most, according to the Alliance.
Ghent
- Fee. 260 €, paid online when you register. A form sent without payment is not a registration.
- Format. Only the full test on computer, at the Ghent premises, on an AZERTY keyboard. See the keyboard at TCF Canada.
- Sessions. Three a year, in February, May and August or September. The September 2026 session has passed, and the next was not yet published.
- After registration closes. No refund, change or postponement, except with valid proof, and then minus an admin fee of about 2 €. Registration is in your name and not transferable.
Before you pay
- Check the centre is on FEI’s TCF centre map.
- Email Brussels for its fee before you register, it is not on the page.
- If nothing is free, look at centres in France in TCF Canada in France, or read no date available.
