Where to take TCF Canada in Ghana, and what the exam costs
Checked November 3, 2026
At the Alliance française d’Accra, the only TCF centre in Ghana we found. On 3 November 2026 it listed TCF Canada at ₵3,990 for non-Ghanaians, ₵3,570 for Ghanaians and ₵3,360 for Alliance or Campus France members. You register online for the computer TCF, or with a form handed in at the office. Note that the page does not say which dates are TCF Canada sessions, so ask before you pay.
Fee
TCF Canada fees read on the Alliance française d’Accra TCF page on 3 November 2026.
| Profile | Fee |
|---|---|
| Alliance or Campus France member | ₵3,360 |
| Ghanaian | ₵3,570 |
| Non-Ghanaian | ₵3,990 |
Do not confuse it with the TCF IRN (₵2,260 to ₵2,650), which is for French nationality, or with the compulsory tests alone of TCF tout public (₵1,730 to ₵2,040). Neither counts for Express Entry. The fee and calendar PDF linked on the page returned an error that day.
Sessions
The page lists six dates, of which only 28 November is still ahead, with no year and without saying which are TCF Canada sessions. The Alliance says registration opens several weeks before each session. The online platform mentions 18 seats per day. Email customer service to check whether 28 November is a TCF Canada session and whether seats remain.
What about Kumasi?
The Alliance française de Kumasi site has no TCF page. Its exam pages cover the DELF, the DALF and other diplomas. We found no TCF Canada session there, so count on Accra.
Registration
- Online, for the computer TCF, on the Alliance’s registration platform, with an account.
- At the office, with the downloadable registration form and payment.
The form we read (a 2023 version, kept in a 2025 archive) asks for your passport number and a passport scan sent by email. The general rules are in ID for the exam.
We found no refund rule and no wait between two sittings on the Alliance’s pages. Ask before you pay, and see retaking TCF Canada for FEI’s rule.
Before you pay
- Check on FEI’s TCF centre map that the Accra Alliance still offers TCF Canada.
- Confirm your date is a TCF Canada session, not another TCF version.
- If nothing is free, see Lagos in TCF Canada in Nigeria, or read no date available.
General steps are in how to register, and what the fee covers in TCF Canada price.
At close to ₵4,000 a sitting, it is worth knowing where your writing stands before you pay. Write one practice task and get an estimated mark.
